After reading reviews and taking stock of the features of this TV I decided to take the plunge and get the LG. I had purchased an LG monitor last year and loved it, and this TV lives up to that purchase. The picture is incredible first off. I went in to Best Buy and compared it to all the high-end models, and this one held it's own against Samsung's and Sony's, for half the price. By CT
Usually I can see a little bit of a difference between tv sets but this one was different. As soon as I seen it you could tell there was a HUGE difference. After that I just waited till there was a good price for it. I ended up getting it from amazon with a free bluray home theatre system. By ledguru
I've had this TV for about a week now and I am very pleased. The hardest part of setting up this TV is putting the stand together. When you first turn the set on the picture is clear but the colors are flat but once I ran the Picture Wizard and since then my household has been in TV/Movie viewing heaven. I teamed this set up with LG's LHB975 Home Theater. The two systems work really well together and make movie time exciting. Buying the 47LE5400 from Amazon.com meant free shipping and easy returns if necessary so I bought with confidence. LG offered a three year warranty on top of the one year you usually get for $99.00 so I took it. All in all I'm very happy and look forward to many years of great TV/Movie viewing. By T. Haile
