Like so many others I did several weeks of checking all the high end name brands online and at many of the big box stores. At the start I never even looked at the LG line of LED/LCD TV's. After visiting one particular store, that happened to have this model, I was quite surprised at the picture quality and the features. My wife and I are exceedingly pleased about this TV purchase and have been urging our friends who are thinking of a new TV not to dismiss LG. By Robb
What a marvelous TV! I love it! The High Definition is unbelievable. The colors just pop out and are so vivid. You see colors that you never noticed before on a conventional TV. The internet and netcast are awesome and easy to set up. The sound is fine and more than adequate for TV speakers with lots of volume, it goes to a scale of 100 and I usually set mine around 10. LG is a reputable company that makes good quality products. I was comparing this 42LE5400 to Samsung's LED TV and had a hard time deciding which to buy. After a few days of researching, I found this LG has more to offer than Samsung at the same price. Video and audio quality is superb and comparable to Samsung's LED.
