These cables are pretty awesome. Initial setup (who cares): The cable came in an easy to open cardboard box. The plastic tips needed to be removed but that hardly was an issue given I have opposable thumbs.
Sound quality: The quality of the sound was on par with some of the more expensive cables I've had previously. I didn't notice any interference and it sounded fairly clear.
In general there isn't too much to say about this product; either it works or it doesn't work. It works and I recommend it. By Timothy Lovett
This product works. It works the same as my expensive big name Optical cable that cost 10 times more. I cannot hear a difference. I imagine 99 percent of the population won't either. So save your money. By AZ Desert Rat

I must say this little black box is just stupendous!!! This is my first Apple TV, I had always been hesitant about them but decided at $99 now with Netflix streaming I just couldn't pass it up. Setup was a breeze, it was so easy to learn, really didn't have to learn it having used other Apple products it was easy to figure out fast.
Browsing my movies on my Mac Mini media server was just a breeze. Connected it too my iTunes account, it instantly found my iTunes and thus all my media. Movies played quickly and at standard def. they looked just as good as they always have. By JohnRN
Easy setup, elegant interface, great sound and video quality. And only $99. (Two hundred dollars less than the upcoming googleTV).
Great for streaming HD home movies from iTunes. You can stream all of your iTunes content to the AppleTV. Works with all of your existing iOS devices. This is just the beginning folks. Airplay and Apps coming late this year and in 2011.
I highly recommend controlling the AppleTV with an iPad if you have one. Makes controlling and typing on the AppleTV so easy!
A recommended buy for the iOS ecosystem. By Technoboy
Version 2 much better. I love this new version of the Apple TV. It's compact, so it doesn't take up much space. The 40 gb hard drive on the old version was useless. I don't know about anyone else, but between photos, songs, movies, and other media, I have well over 40 gb. I host it on my Mac MINI and with home sharing can view all my movies right from the confort of my own couch. I have mine set up wireless without any delays playing movies, or streaming them from Netflix or the Apple Store. And for 99 bucks, you can't beat that price. By chrisregentb

Bought this ViewSonic 24 inch LCD TV about a month ago. It is worth every penny for the fraction of what a full 1080p cost. Most 720 LCDs for the same size cost this much. Very happy with this purchase! By LakersFan
Got TV yesterday. Setup was simple. Picture looks great even when not connected to HD. Only thing to improve is the sound. It is not the worst I have seen, but it is not perfect. That being said, sound is acceptable. Overall very happy. Price from J&R with free shipping was great. Delivery was super fast. Bought on a Saturday, delivered on Tuesday!!! By 4mger
I had not heard of this brand before this purchase but they were one of the few who carried a 24" LCD TV(actually mis-advertized it's 23.5") I had a restricted cabinet opening so it worked out perfectly. I was also impressed with the 2 yr. warranty and the 1080p resolution. I would not hesitate to recommend this to family or friends. By Jagdoran

Purchased this TV recently at Costco and find it to be a great value. Picture is nice and clear, great sound, overall happy with the purchase especially for the price. By Jacob Reibel
I've had this TV for about a month and it's been great. Its a fantastic size, the sound is great, perfect HD picture, and you can see it very clearly from even wide angles (which a lot of LCDs do not do well). I read some reviews that the black contrast was not great on this set, and I have noticed that in some dimly lit scenes, but it has not been a very big noticeable problem. Overall, for the price I paid, I feel like I made an investment in a great big-screen TV By Ted K.

Can't believe I got such a great tv at such a great price. Can't wait for it to arrive!!!! By Leo
Was looking for a gift for Mom and Dad (a.k.a. me and my wife) and like to buy things we all can enjoy with the whole family. So being in the TV programming business I've been attending seminars on 3D and picking up very usual tips. Recently I learned from a vendor that Plasma is better than LED with 3D and that Panasonic and Samsung have already started exclusive 3D content wars with Panasonic holding "Avatar". After reviewing prices and reviews I decided to go with Panasonic and couldn't be happier. Amazingly this 50 inch TV weighs less than the 42 inch Sharp HD set it is replacing. Was able to mount on the wall and just blown away by the picture. And so far the sound has also been more than enough for the room although i'm looking into a surround sound system. The 3D is way cool (purchased A Christmas Carol with Jim Carey). Set up was a breeze and very pleased with the free shipping. Price dropped slightly after Thanksgiving and Amazon rocked with their matching guarantee. All in all a great experience and very pleased with this purchase. By M. Zelenz

Customer Reviews
prior to this tv, we had the panasonic s2 42" plasma tv (which replaced a 53" toshiba projection television)in the family room,as i wanted to try a plasma set and toshiba doesn't make plasmas. happy with the panay, we were torn to either get the panasonic 54vt 3dtv or this set. pricing was similar - but internet was not built into the panay. the plasma consumes much more power than this set. also, the 3d glasses that come with the toshiba are much more comfortable than the ones that came with the panay. so without reviews and based solely on my family's experience with toshiba, we bought this tv. we are extremely happy and i believe all the talk about blooming, clouding, flashlighting that comes with an edge lit set like this one is either overdone or toshiba has done an excellent job overcoming these issues By T. Goldstein
Just upgraded from Hitachi Plasma 720p 42 inch. When I first got the Hitachi I did not think a picture could ever get better. Was in the market for an upgrade and spent a day looking at all the 50" LED TVs. Where the TV is set in the store makes all the difference in the picture quality and they have the mode set to brightest, sharpest, etc... by Terrance Parker

This set is everything and more than I expected. After adjusting the video settings for the room the picture is the best I have ever had or seen. Note, I have have 65" Mitsubishi Diamond DLP which is a tough act to match. This picture is better than that, just smaller.
The sound from the THX implementation is of excellent quality from the set. As this is a bedroom set I actually use the sound system from the TV.
Yes, it is also thin!
Great TV, I highly recommend it! By Philip Joy
For me it's all about picture quality, and the 50PK550 delivers. You will not be disappointed. For tweak freaks, there is a tremendous degree of control offered for optimizing the picture to your personal tastes. For people who want to "set it and forget it", you're covered - I don't think LG could have made setting this unit up any easier.
Phenomenal picture quality aside, I was also pleasantly surprised that the onboard speakers deliver pretty good audio, though I assume most people will route the sound to a dedicated audio system.
The only bad thing? The glossy black remote is almost too pretty to touch. lol.
Get it - you won't be sorry! By Bobby W.
