Though we have only had it for three days, I couldn't be more pleased with this television. The display is absolutely gorgeous, colors are rich and natural, the built-in sound is actually pretty good. Viewing Blu-Ray from our Sony Play Station 3 is like being in a cinema theater. The TV's remote even operates the Play Station functions as well. The fast response time and 600hz refresh rate result in a great gaming experience on the PS3, and sports events look amazing. I'm happy with the set and particularly the price we paid on Amazon which was about 20% better than anywhere else. By j5717

I don`t know why this tv was not rated before because it is a great tv. I was worried about buying it because I had nothing to go by, but glad I did. It has an excellent 2d picture and the 3d looks awesome when I watched the Shrek movies.

Five stars for this great unit! Samsung hit another winner with this product. Picture perfect, easy set up and really decent sound. Easy to use lighted remote. No motion worries with the latest 240hz setup.
Grey touch of color is very attractive. Swivel base works great for viewing at different locations in my family room with no problems viewing at any angle. No problems with screen reflections either.
Menus are easy to walk through for any user adjustments.
I also purchased and installed the wireless USB device. Easy to install and set up also.

The color level and picture are fantastic. I feel the settings out of the box are great. However, CNet provides some nice tweaks to the movie settings which I have used with a Sony PS3 to show a fantastic picture though I didn't spend time going back and forth to see how much different it was from the factory settings. I like that each input can be adjusted to the settings you want. For example my PS3 retains the movie settings (tweaked per CNet) while my Digital Set top Box is set to Standard, etc. By Cool Breeze

I purchased this TV today at Sam's Club as part of their Black Friday promotion for $498. Picture quality excellent, set up easy, and love the fact that there are so many ports to connect things. Looked at a similar TV from Vizio with only a single AV component connection in addition to the HDMI connectors. Several of the devices I own do not support HDMI and I would have been unable to use them with the Vizio. 
The remote control is well designed and easy to use. This was not the case with all the TVs that were looked.

I too like most people, spent countless time researching LCD's. I wanted sometime in the 40-42" range w/ 120hz. After walking in sams club on black friday, I instantly fell in love. They had it displayed near a few LED tv's and a few higher end sony and samsung LCD's. For the price, this tv flat out kills much higher priced LCD's. Setup was easy, sound is good, but I have a soundbar so I keep TV sound off unless I'm watching a game and want the stadium effect. By Dan

Well... I have had mine plugged in for about 4 hours now. Love the picture on it. Its only 120 hz so of course 240hz would be better. But that would cost ya another $400 (more than half of what this tv cost me!) Sound is amazing and by far the best of any flat panel tv I have seen and heard. Lots of ports on it. Lots of options with the picture so you can tweak it the way you want or just set it to auto and let the tv do the work. I passed up a 47 inch lcd 120 hz with internet apps (same price as this one) for this one w/o internet apps and a better response time. I can pick up a external box with the internet apps for $99 and I will be happy! Love the TV and so does the wife.. even the cat is sitting here watching animal planet now! I have had the Philips 47" flat screen model number 47PFL7422D/37 for over a year.It looks like this TV is just a later model from the one I have.

This has to be the best buy I've had in years! This VideoSecu TV wall mount is sturdy and easy to put up. The hardest part, for me,was finding the wall studs. I looked at mounts in stores around here. The cheapest was $89. I paid $19 each ,for the two,I bought. I bought two,for less than half, of one,here. One mount holds my 50" Samsung. This is a TV with bright, crisp picture quality and awesome Netflix HD streaming. I mostly watch blu-ray disks or use this as a monitor to work on web-designing. I bought this TV because it was about 200 dollars cheaper on here that it was at Sams Club. I bought this with the free shipping from Amazon and it came actually just as fast as regular shipping. Sharp image, and it seems to make my plain DVD player(not blu-ray or up-converting DVD, just the old ones) seem better. Its got some engine that smooths out the picture. The TV is super thin too. Amazing picture. LEDs are doing their job with the backlight... There are few complain about the sound - I don't agree.
Who the h... is trying to get home theater sound without receiver and 7.1 speakers system...?
The delivery is great (don't worry), they will even open the box and put the one in its place.

I own the 26" version of this TV (I also own a 47" Vizio) and I needed a small TV to use for a convention display table. The reason I purchased this one is that it is unique in that it has forward facing speakers. Most small TV's have downward facing speakers and in a large room they are much harder to hear. This TV is perfect, small, loud volume and has a great picture. I also like how Vizio packs their small TV's because they are easy to re-pack and the box can be used many times. Purchased this for our kids room and since they are only about 4-5 feet from the TV, its a terrific size for them. It's as sleek and nice looking in person and the picture is outstanding. Hooked up to a DVD player and a Roku streaming box for Netflix and both look great. Sounds good, but then again the viewing distance is pretty close. This hdtv is awosome, for the money i believe its the best. some of the tv's coming out later this year are sure to beat it but thier also going to cost a couple grand more. but compared to all the hdtv's out now this tops them all thanks to precision dimming, finnaly those cloudy looking blacks are gone. allowing for a prestine picture. i have owned panasonic plasmas and older samsung and this easily tops them all just because of the precision dimming. You see any hdtv can give great colars and great motion but only a handfull can give you good blacks making it in my opinion the number thing to look for when buying a new tv. And haveing the 3D feature as an extra option is awosome. glad i purchased it By Dweller

Having traveled the same road in my search, from LCD to LED, and then to Plasma, I can only confirm what has otherwise been discussed. When I bought it, Consumer Reports had just listed the PK750 as its top of the line 50" plasma. So that made the decision easier for me. Home and set up it works flawlessly. CNET has identified the best picture settings for it and using the wireless adapter makes Netflix and Voodoo so easy. Say goodbye to my Satellite? Still trying to work the NERO streaming Video and will figure it out. Looks are indeed fabulous. Best bigscreen I have ever had.
