Samsung LED TV Series 8
I've played games with both my PS3 and the XBOX360. No problems. No pixelating. Did not bother to change TV over to game mode. I haven't fooled around with the 240Hz function. I just leave it on standard. So, fantastic TV. I am VERY happy with it. Obviously I highly recommend it.
Samsung UN46C9000 3D LED Ultra Slim HDTV
If you are looking for a amazing 3DTV that has come down in price quiet a bit from when it first came out. This is definately a very good option. It is super thin like a pencil and looks great mounted on any wall. The 2D Picture is excellent it looks great when watching HDTV Programming and Blu Rays. The 3DTV Technology is also really great since this is a higher end LED TV you get higher end 3D Performance which is alot closer to the 3D Performance of the Panasonic Viera VT25 than any other 3DTV on the market.
Samsung UN55C8000 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV
This hdtv is awosome, for the money i believe its the best. some of the tv's coming out later this year are sure to beat it but thier also going to cost a couple grand more. but compared to all the hdtv's out now this tops them all thanks to precision dimming, finnaly those cloudy looking blacks are gone. allowing for a prestine picture. i have owned panasonic plasmas and older samsung and this easily tops them all just because of the precision dimming. You see any hdtv can give great colars and great motion.

AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable (6.5 Feet/2.0 Meters)[Supports 3D + Audio Return Channel]
Reasonably priced, gets full Amazon support behind it By A. Dent "Aragorn"
Just to clear any doubt, this cable works as well as any other 6 ft. HDMI wire, including the premium ones and it's no better than those that sell at Amazon for one penny (I actually have one in use right now).
I am in the process of upgrading my AV receiver and I needed an extra wire. So, I purchased one Amazon branded HDMI cables and not a very expensive 'premium' brand or a less expensive 'discount' brand because...

Cheetah Mounts APTMM2B Flat Screen TV Wall Mount Bracket, uses Universal Tilt Mount 32-55" - Plasma
Quality mount -- not cheap but low-cost (by design). Like it. By Young "GoRedSox"
I was skeptical of this mount. Why should this be so cheap compared to other mounting kits? I ordered one (due to the price), and prepared to return it if I did not think the mount could handle the weight of the 52" LCD TV (Samsung).
Once I got it, I understood the cost. Good low-cost design and built with solid heavy duty steel.
- Two horizontal bars are load-bearing, and for proper VESA spacing, they have to be parallel and relative distance must be in the right tolerances. These are made of solid steel.
- Two vertical bars (in the wall mount) are flimsey, and that's ok. it should be solid enough make a rectangle box w/ square angles. That's it.
- Two vertical mounting (to the TV) brackets are of heavy duty metal. Making this in to two parts (not one), reduction of material, but also allows free horizontal adjustment on the TV mount.
- By doing the above, the kit is small, uses less metal (and reduce shipping and material waste).
Mediabridge Ultra Series - High Speed HDMI Cable With Ethernet - 6ft
Excellent Choice and Value for Money By Girl Interrupted "Lyvee"
Ok so I am a girl and I am not much of a techie but I didn't want to spend $100 on an HDMI cable. I came to Amazon and read a lot of the product reviews.
I first purchased the the HDMI cable from ClearAV, it was inexpesive and not the best product. It cost me a little over $4 for the item and S&H. I tested it on my upconverting Panasonic DVD player on 1080i resolution on my 40" 1080p Samsung LCD TV but it had poor signal quality and the cable was not an HDMI version 1.3. So when I played my DVDs the picture would go on and off and so would the sound and there was a flashing line on my screen. Then I thought maybe I need to get another cable but still was not willing to pay $100.
I continued to do my research and realized that not all HDMI cables were created equal :( So I decided to try my luck again with the MEDIABRIDGE : "Premium 6ft 1.3b Category 2 Super High Speed HDMI Cable - 1080p - PS3 - Blu-Ray." THIS CABLE IS THE REAL THING : the true HDMI version 1.3b Category 2 certified (whatever that means but sounds like a really good thing) which can be used with blu-ray or PS3 and will give you great 48-bit color. I paid a little under $7 for everything i.e for the item and S&H. The first thing I noticed was that it has the "HDMI" embossed on the cable; might not mean much but I thought it was note worthy. Second, the cable was thick and sturdy unlike the regular one I previously purchased. Third, apparently it's gold plated, I don't know how to prove this but it sure looks shiny :)

Panasonic VIERA TC-P50G25 50-Inch
Panasonic VIERA TC-P50G25 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV
Excellent Buy By TheoJM
Get the 50 inch version or bigger, it's not too large. :P Put this in THX mode and it is great. The construction is excellent, picture quality is the best I've seen on any TV, menu is very navigable, and the remote control is perfectly adequate. Viera Cast is an awesome feature of this TV. Pandora is an awesome service for those interested in music. Amazon video on demand has a large selection and video quality is high(a bit expensive though). YouTube unfortunately defaults to 360p, even if the video has 480p, 720p, or 1080p available. There is no way to manually force it to a better video mode. Netflix streams just fine, but there is no integrated search feature.
The speakers are good, but at times it is downright difficult to understand what people are saying. I found that standard definition channels look worse on this TV than on a SD television(maybe this is to be expected, but I wasn't to this extent). A few SD channels are really really bad, to the point of being almost unwatchable(tennis channel). No 3.55mm headphone connection. In addition, there is no DVI connection either(only resolution limited VGA port). Don't buy an LCD or LED because you are concerned about this burning in. Burn-in(especially past the first 100 hours) has been made mostly irrelevant with recent plasma developments. However, I did do about 72 hours of break-in slides(from avsforum) to age the pixels evenly, not sure if it was really necessary but I did it anyways.
15 FOOT HDMI TO HDMI Customer Reviews
Value Purchase By Steven Atchison
Read the reviews and then pick this cable. The high dollar cables are defiantly not worth the extra $80. Plus this company had great customer service. I originally ordered a six foot cable and when I came to my senses I was able to change the order easily. Shipping was fairly quick as well. I only had to wait about five days.
Great Cables By terri19
I had purchased a through the wall kit from datacomm to run my tv cords behind the wall. I needed a longer HDMI cable and didn't want to invest much more money on this little project. I had all ready spent about $50.00 for the kit. I was a little leery because these cables where so super cheap, but hey it's only money. I received the cable and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality. The cable was just as good as the 6' expensive cable I was replacing. I could not tell any difference in the picture or sound. Don't hesitate to buy these!

LG 47LX6500 47-Inch 3D
LG 47LX6500 47-Inch 3D 1080p 240 Hz LED Plus LCD HDTV with Internet Applications
Great 2D and 3D TV By Jeff in TN
I purchased the 47LX6500 bundled with the BX580 Blue-Ray 3D DVD player and 4 pairs of the LG 3D active shutter glasses. The 2D picture display was great right out of the box. You can cutomize the display but I went back to the standard settings. The first 3D viewing was not that great. I subscribe to Comcast and there is a limited amount of 3D content On Demand.
These are olded 3D formats and there is significant ghosting. The only 3D Blue-Ray DVD I could get my hands on is Monster House. The 3D was much better but there was fast action blurring. I don't believe Monster House was created in 3D just upgraded. We watched the ESPN 3D broadcast of the Ohio State game and the 3D was tremendous! I've said all that just to say that the 3D experiance depends on the quality and format of what your watching.
The TV can definantly display it. My only complaint is there are no standand RCA type output jacks for audio to connect to my stero system. It does of course have home theater digital output. I'm glad I've waited on the purchase of an HDTV and that this is the package I've got.

Roku XD Streaming Player 1080p
Roku XD Streaming Player 1080p
Excellent product By shein
One can make a good case that with Roku you really don't need cable or satellite TV. With a $10 monthly subscription to Netflix you can get more movies than you have time for over the internet at the time that you want to see them. I doubt that one movie that TCM shows is not available this way.
You can listen to almost any radio station in the country free, meeting your needs if you like any particular kind of music or listen to talk radio, sports, etc.
You can watch Youtube clips on your big TV as well and can send the sound to your stereo system, home theater nowadays.
There are lots of other specialized sites, both free and by subscription, that are available. I like Pub-D-Hub which has movies in the public domain for free, many are poor but others can be quite good, I had never seen a picture with legendary Lillian Gish before.
Roku is a winner.
